My name is Anne Siggaard and it is me who is behind Sigg-art. I have many years of experience from the art industry with me in my luggage - both seen from a purely technical perspective from i.a. ARoS and The Black Diamond, but also from a seller's point of view, which is a look I have acquired, among other things. from my time at the Marvin Gardens Gallery in New York and the Mallorca Gallery CCA (Center Cultural Andratx).
At Aarhus University I have a bachelor's degree in Business and Social Science and at the University of Copenhagen a master's degree in Modern Culture with a focus on art and curation. This gives me a uniquely complex background which means that I not only understand art purely historically, aesthetically and culturally, I also understand the art industry and the investment potential in a different way than your current art historian or gallery owner.

Contemporary art can seem unmanageable to many - both when it comes to the experience of it, but also having to invest.
Where to start? Who's good and who's not? and what is your taste?
Sigg-art offers the following courses:
ART - WHAT IS WAS, WHAT IT BECAME AND WHAT IT IS TODAY
As an artist at Sigg-art, there is no such thing as fixed, bound contracts. We believe that you as an artist should have the free opportunity to exhibit anywhere and with just those you want. With me, you simply apply for an exhibition period and send me a project description. It is allowed to apply for several periods and with several projects. During the exhibition period, for potential sales, we of course make a specific contract regarding the distribution of the sale price. If you wish to take part in the courses that will be offered during your exhibition period, this must be stated in your application.

In addition to our nice little showroom in Nørrebro, we also offer residency stays of 1-3 months duration. Our residency stay is generally offered for the purpose of making an exhibition after the end of the stay, but we are not reluctant to offer a stay to an artist with another exhibition project in mind - however, this must also be stated carefully in your application.

A project description should be a maximum of 3 standard pages, but feel free to attach lots of image or video material
